Asset Strategy and Planning Analyst

Position Overview

This position supports the Manager Strategic Asset Planning and Project Management to develop Council’s AM framework (AM policy, strategy and AM Plans), enhance Council’s asset management maturity; undertake the asset management improvement program; and set up long-term capital works and maintenance programs.

It will support the coordination of all asset class strategies to ensure that Council priorities, budgets and community needs are managed centrally before a Council-wide strategy is presented to the Executive for review and approval.

The position will represent the manager as the owner of the various asset management modules of Council’s corporate system and guide asset system improvements.

It will conduct data analysis and provide insights to help Council make informed decisions.
